I was watching Joel Osteen a few weeks ago. His message was about strengthening your prayer life by reminding God of His promises. I composed this list from my notes and made a smaller one to keep in my wallet. It's been a blessing to me so I thought I'd share.

God says in Isaiah 43:26, "Put me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case." Isaiah 62:6 says, "…take no rest, all you who pray to the Lord."

  • God you said I'm blessed and can not be cursed
  • God you said with long life you will satisfy me
  • God you said your favor is not for a season but for a lifetime
  • God you said when my enemies come at me one way you will defeat them and send them running is seven different ways
  • God you said you will supply all my needs according to your riches
  • God you said you are Jehovah Jireh the LORD my provider
  • God you said you will be my vindicator
  • God you said you will fight my battles
  • God you said what's meant for my harm you turn and use for my advantage
  • God you said you will restore health unto me and heal my wounds
  • God you said I will live and not die
  • God you said what is impossible for man is possible with God
  • God you said all of your promises end is yes and amen
  • God you said I shall lend and not borrow
  • God you said I shall be the head and not the tail
  • God you said you will open the windows of heaven and poor me out a blessing
  • God you said my cup will run over
  • God you said whatever I touch will succeed
  • God you said you will prosper me even in a desert
  • God you said as for me and my house we will serve the LORD
  • God you said the seed of the righteous is blessed
  • God you said my children will be mighty in the land
  • God you said you will give me beauty for ashes
  • God you said you will pay me back double for the unfair things that have happened
  • God you said my end will be better than my beginning
  • God you said all things work together for my good

Isaiah 55:11 says that God's Word will accomplish and achieve the purpose for which it is sent.
